Ingredients:
- 7oz or 200g Maria plain cookies
- 1/2 cup coffee
- 16oz or 500ml milk or chocolate milk
- 3Tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 stick butter or 60g butter
- 2 eggs
- 8Tbsp sugar
Instructions:
- 7oz or 200g Maria plain cookies, crumbled
- 1/2 cup coffee sprinkled on top
- 16oz milk or chocolate milk, put 6Tbsp milk in a small bowl
- Mix 3Tbsp corn starch with 6Tbsp milk in the bowl
- Boil milk with 1/2 stick butter
- Add the corn starch and milk mix into the boiling milk (slowly). Boil until it becomes thick, about 2-3 mins. Remove and let it cool for 2-3 mins.
- Separate yolks from whites from 2 eggs
- Add the yolks in the milk
- Spread the pudding on top of the cookies.
- Mix 8 Tbsp sugar with the 2 whites until you get a meringue and spread on top of the pudding
