Ingredients:

  • 7oz or 200g Maria plain cookies
  • 1/2 cup coffee
  • 16oz or 500ml milk or chocolate milk
  • 3Tbsp corn starch
  • 1/2 stick butter or 60g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 8Tbsp sugar

Instructions:

  • 7oz or 200g Maria plain cookies, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup coffee sprinkled on top
  • 16oz milk or chocolate milk, put 6Tbsp milk in a small bowl
  • Mix 3Tbsp corn starch with 6Tbsp milk in the bowl
  • Boil milk with 1/2 stick butter
  • Add the corn starch and milk mix into the boiling milk (slowly). Boil until it becomes thick, about 2-3 mins. Remove and let it cool for 2-3 mins.
  • Separate yolks from whites from 2 eggs
  • Add the yolks in the milk
  • Spread the pudding on top of the cookies.
  • Mix 8 Tbsp sugar with the 2 whites until you get a meringue and spread on top of the pudding
