Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs + 2eggs
  • 3 Tbsp + 2 Tbsp + 2 Tbsp + 8 Tbsp sugar = 15 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp + 1-2 Tbsp flour
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 4oz (125g) finely ground walnuts
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 orange
  • 1.55oz or 50g chocolate
  • 1tsp baking powder

Instructions:

  • Mix 3 eggs, 3Tbsp sugar, 2Tbsp flour and 1tsp baking powder
  • Mix with a mixer until very thick and fluffy and add 3Tbsp grounded walnuts midway
  • Grease a 9×9 pan and add some flour so it looks like this
  • Pour the mix that you just made into the 9×9 pan.
  • Bake on 400F (200C) for about 20 mins. Check with toothpick.
  • In a pot mix and boil 1/4 cup milk, the rest of the grounded walnuts and 2Tbsp sugar
  • Add 1 stick butter (cut in small pieces), 1.55oz or 50g chocolate and mix well until melted and compact
  • Grate a 1/2 orange and make juice from the same half. Add all of the orange zest and only 1/2 of the orange juice from the 1/2 orange. Keep the rest of the juice.
  • In another pot, separate yolks from 2 eggs and mix with 2Tbsp sugar. Keep the whites.
  • On a very-very low heat, mix carefully for about 10-15 mins until you get this consistency
  • Add the yellow mix to the brown mix
  • Flip the dough that you made initially on a cake holder and spread the remaining of the orange juice. This will stick the filling with the dough.
  • Spread the filling.
  • Mix the 2 egg whites with 8Tbsp sugar and mix well until very thick
  • Spread on top.
