Ingredients:

  • 1 cup potato flakes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 green onion/scallion chopped (optional)
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped (optional)
  • 1 tsp mustard (optional)
  • 1 bouillon cube (optional)

Instructions:

  • Dissolve the bouillon cube in heated water and milk
  • Add 2 Tbsp butter
  • Bring to a temp before boiling (small bubbles on the edges)
  • Add salt, pepper, paprika, chopped scallion and garlic
  • Add flakes when it starts boiling, remove immediately and mix until it thickens. Add more water/flakes per your taste of consistency.
  • Add mustard. Serve.
