Ingredients:

  • 1kg-1.2kg fresh cabbage
  • 150g carrots
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion
  • 500g meat. I used a smoked sausage.
  • 8 cups water + bouillon for 8 cups (prob 4 cubes)
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • salt, pepper, spices


Instructions:

  • Chop the cabbage roughly
  • Saute carrots first in 1/2 cup oil
  • Add onions after and cook until translucent
  • Add cabbage, meat and 8 cups of water + bouillon. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered for about 45 mins-60mins.
  • Around 45 mins when you see that the cabbage is fully cooked (leaves are soft, wilted and dark in color), take out 2 cups of the liquid.
  • Add 6Tbsp flour and mix vigorously so there are no lumps. Put it back and cook for another minute.
